How To Earn The Embroidery Business Specialist Certification

 

To Become a Certified Embroidery Business Specialist:

  • You must be a Titanium/Professional Member of the EmbroideryBusinessAcademy. There is no extra charge for this Certification!  This is part of your membership.
  • You must have gone through the Workbook and completed each one of the lessons.

There are 2 steps To Receiving The Embroidery Business Specialist Certification.

Instructions for Finished Design Sew Out

  • Click Here to Download the artwork for the design to be digitized, sewn out, and sent back to us along with your sew file. If you have the .PXF file or .EMB file, send those to us. If you do not have access to those files, send us the .DST file. You can digitize the file yourself or send it out to be digitized. Design for Sew out to submit is shown at right.
  • Digitize the file for a performance knit garment such as a San Mar Style No. ST350 – You do not have to purchase this particular garment. You can use any performance wear that you have on hand.  Send the sew out using performance wear fabric
  • The maximum size of the finished sew out should be 3.5 inches wide. You can make the design smaller if you would like.  After you have received your Certification, you can sew this design on personal items that will be promoting you as a specialist.  It would be great on a Tote bag that you were using to carry to your functions, such as networking meetings or to clients place of business.
  • Click Here To Download Form to use to attach your finished sew out to us at The Embroidery Coach. The finished sew out must be submitted within 7 to 10 business days after taking the test!

  • Underlay Stitching
  • Pull Compensation
  • Quality of Small Lettering
  • Density

Upon reviewing your sew out and sew file, in conjunction of passing your online test, we will send out your Certification Certificate or notify you otherwise.
